Nearly four dozen Maine vendors donated goods and services for the fairy-tale wedding, held Oct. 15-17 at The Retreat at French's Point.

A Golf Scramble to Support Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy
In September of 2009, Penobscot Valley Country Club hosted a golf scramble to support Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy and to benefit three Maine-based research institutions. The golf scramble was held in memory of John Bishop, a former Bangor Daily News executive who died unexpectedly last year.
